Little Time For Felines

by Russell Turner - 18:02 on 05 November 2015

The fog and dampness that's covered much of the country finally caught up with The Rural Retreat today, although I saw little of it. The next Chatterbox deadline is growing closer, another Bassman Books title – Rosemarkie Connections – is almost complete, and I'm involved in either sprucing up or creating two website.

So the days are busy, much to the disgust of bored cats who insist loudly that I should abandon the Mac and take them for a walk or help them play chase around the living room and kitchen.

I did take a break from my labours for a short while yesterday, during which a couple more autumnal feline snaps were added to the collection, plus another portrait of The Grey Destroyer.

Willow 61 Willow 60 Maia and Pandora 5

Tomorrow I'll need to take another break to brush up on some of City Limits' newer songs ahead of a short-notice gig at Mad Hatters in Inverness in the evening. Even better, two more gigs have dropped into our laps for later in the month and in December we'll make our Skye debut at the Portree Hotel. So much to do, so little time.
