Getting Ready For Winter

by admin - 23:51 on 21 October 2013

Cats must be able to sense a change in the weather. After months spent relaxing on chairs and sofas designed for humans, tonight The Fearless Ones returned to snug feline furniture.

Willow curled up in the purple basket beneath The Tess Memorial Shelf, next to the radiator; Pandora found ease in the smaller of two grey cat beds next to the other radiator. Maybe they've heard the long-range weather forecast that November will be the start of a winter of blizzards.

Maia must be harder to convince for she took her regular place atop Matchgirl's blanket on the sofa, doing her best to spread across the full two seats.

Willow 33

Willow spent much of yesterday evening on the shelf she's claimed for herself above the grey baskets, and earlier today Pandora squeezed into the wicket basket on the kitchen windowsill she used to often occupy as a much smaller kitten.

There can never be too much variety for cats.
