Busy, Busy, Busy

The Pentax has seen little constructive action in the last few days but there's been lots of snappery-related activity.

What I hope will be the first of many print runs of A Cat Called Tess came closer after Tigger and I reached a mutually satisfactory financial agreement. Printing could begin tomorrow (funds permitting) were it not that I've had second thoughts about the physical size of the book.

My plan has always been for a bijou, pocket-sized volume, but my proposed 10x10cm now feels a little too small so I've asked Tigger for quotes at 12cm and 14cm. One way or another, the green light could be lit within the next few days. Exciting times.

My bid to fill the gap left by Clinton Cards has also made progress. A select number of snaps are now available as cards at the Beach Cafe in Rosemarkie. Negotiations continue with a couple of other possible outlets.

Much printing took place on Monday, to fill the cafe's order; more will take place tomorrow ahead of my trip to Aultbea market on Friday – a long journey, but one I've been promised will be worth the effort. We'll see.

Matchgirl's promise to accompany me may not be kept, however, following the continued success of St Andy of Wimbledon. A girl's got her priorities.
