Another Date With The Doctor

The Rural Retreat's other resident patient attended her latest appointment this morning to receive mixed news: for the time being she can come off the thyroid pills but at least one more molar is to be claimed by the tooth fairy.
Bess was philosophical about this, or just relieved to escape Dr Death's clinic with all her fur intact. That will change on Monday when she'll give more blood for testing, then be anaesthetised while the tooth fairy, aka Dr Vet, takes away more of her few remaining gnashers. Poor puss.
A shot of antibiotic and another of steroid meant a muddled moggy spent the rest of the day sleeping in her basket at the top of the stairs – a spot she's not favoured for several months. Life is change.
No snappery was carried out today (constant drizzle and rain was no help) so here's a siskin from a few days ago.
