A Tailgate and a Tall Tale

by admin - 22:53 on 13 December 2011

Today was the day when Mr Ford was to get his blemish-free tailgate fitted. However, my optimistic belief that the replacement would fit inside him, with the back seats down, for the trip to RM Motors at Muir of Ord proved unfounded.

So Mr Ford will carry his scars for another few days, until Richard the mechanic is able to call in with van and pick up the tailgate.

There was better news from The Storehouse, one of the numerous outlets to carry The Bumper Book of Black Isle Snappery. A very discerning customer has asked for twenty-five copies, so they need a new delivery as soon as possible. We'll be happy to oblige.

Also, a rumour, so far unsubstantiated, has reached our ears that The Bumper Book features in tenth place on Waterstone's latest Inverness bestseller list. This seems unlikely. I'll let you know if it proves to be true.
