Back to the Grind

I grudgingly returned to GNoME HQ today, so, as Matchgirl was also absent from The Rural Retreat, pine martens could have morris danced on the lawn and I wouldn't have seen them. Work is a nuisance.

Master Marten didn't visit last night but a much smaller and even cuter individual did. This might have been Lumpy or even a first-time visitor – he was certainly very cautious, very alert, and didn't stay very long after sampling some of the Nutella on the gate.

The boss was back tonight at 9pm. MM cleared the gate of goodies, jumped into the undergrowth and emerged close to The Nutella Tree which he climbed with his usual agility. When he'd finished eating he ignored the eggy clump and ran off behind the willow tree, which is not his usual departure direction. Most intriguing
