On Your Marks, Get Set...

by admin - 23:13 on 18 January 2011

Andrew continued his cautious approach to publication when he returned to Dingwall Printers today to discuss the very last, certainly concluding and absolutely final tweaks of the masterwork that is The Bumper Book of Black Isle Snappery.

He'll sleep on it one more night before giving Brian and co the go-ahead for printing operations – which will begin just as soon as sufficient quantity of special shiny paper is ordered and received. Three or four weeks is the rough timescale before we have the finished product in our hands. I'll reveal I more definite publication date when I have it.

I was unable to accompany Andrew, for today the fun ended and I returned to GNoME HQ for the first time since before Christmas. Nothing has changed, including the rates of pay. Such is life.
