No News From The South

Oil exploration in the Falklands continues at a leisurely pace.

Matchgirl and I logged on this morning to find out if our dreams of becoming oil barons was any closer to reality, only to learn that the work is taking longer than expected. Maybe we'll be rich by the end of the week.

So Matchgirl reluctantly returned to her day job while I made the most of a splendid autumnal morning by sightseeing around Loch Achilty and Strathconon. The Pentax accompanied me but stayed in its bag – inspiration was low.

That's why the only snaps on offer today feature my most regular model, Bess, who posed for me on her shelf above the radiator. You can tell how excited she was about the task.
