Hold the Back Page

by admin - 20:22 on 18 September 2010

Today I tried my hand at sport snappery, in the company of a few fellow camera club members, at Victoria Park, home of Scottish Cup heroes Ross County.

The results were not impressive.

I could blame the grey, drizzly day, or the cramped seating, or the lack of a zillion-frames-per-second motor drive on my modest Pentax.

County 3

Or I could admit that my ability to anticipate the action was poor and that much more practice is needed before the regular back page snappers need worry, as you'll see from the couple of snaps that scrambled over a much-lowered quality threshold.

At least County, who've made a slow start to the season, beat visitors Stirling Albion 3-1.

No, I didn't catch any of the goals.

County 2
