A Photographic Failure

by admin - 22:11 on 10 April 2010

The weekly meetings of Cromarty Camera Club may have ended, but the action continues on the occasional photo outings, one of which was held today – a ramble beside the River Beauly.

Conscious of my status of being both officially Licentious (through the RPS) and Poty (as the club's joint photographer of the year) I was determined to prove my worth by gathering a fine selection of snaps.

I failed miserably, as proved by the least worst of the images I produced – in fact, the only one I bothered saving. There's always another time.

Fisherman, River Beauly

The greatest excitement of the day was keeping track of the Ross County v Celtic Scottish Cup semi-final (or semifinal, as the Ross-shire Journal inexplicably insists) via club members' iPhones and BlackBerrys (or is it BlackBerries?). We're a high-tech bunch.

As the world now knows, the boys done good. The final is on May 15. Come on the Staggies!
