Getting Down To Business

by Russell Turner - 22:14 on 13 May 2018

It’s been a hectic weekend with City Limits and two mad nights at Foxes featuring full dance floors and tumbling drunks. Guitarist Keith has discovered that he has the ability to instantly make a group of girls happy. The trick is to play the intro to Man I Feel Like A Woman. Such power.

Despite the late nights I’ve finally got around to two much-procrastinated tasks. The year’s first mowing of the lawn has begun – something that will take several sessions – and today the first pages of the next Chatterbox were completed.

One of the fringe benefits of a less shaggy lawn (the bit in front of The Rural Retreat at least) is that Brock’s stumpy legs are visible, as last night’s Bushnell snap proves. He (or she) wasn’t the recent road victim, I’m happy to report.
