A Date With Dixie

Preparations for my trip south in a few weeks, when I’ll be stalking Mr Wakeman again, are shaping up nicely. Five nights of free accommodation (what are friends and family for) will help subsidise the journey.

Even better, I’ve now got another gig to attend – Hayseed Dixie in Leamington Spa, the night before Mr W in Milton Keynes. If you’ve never heard of them, think of AC/DC and Motorhead played by hillbillies. Brilliant stuff. Matchgirl would hate it.

Yes my kind of music too! One of my guilty pleasures is a bit of hillbilly music.
