Strictly Inspiration

by Russell Turner - 19:41 on 28 October 2016

Weddings, honeymoons, holidays – there's not been much room for gigs lately. That changes on Saturday when City Limits Lite (Jenna's still got a few solo bookings to honour) returns to the Portree Hotel.

We even plan to throw in a few new songs we've not yet played together (because we like to live dangerously) including Mississippi Queen by Mountain. Lite we may be, but we can be heavy too. It’s My Life (Bon Jovi), Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love (Bad Company), I Want To Break Free (Queen) and Bad Moon Rising (CCR) may also make an appearance, played together for the first time.

The bad news about the Skye gig is that I’ll have to wait until Sunday to catch up with Strictly, which might come up with a few more song ideas. I’m working on the rest of the band to play Runaway Baby, as featured a couple of weeks ago. The crowd would love it, even without Ore and Joanne.
