It was a hectic morning as the latest Chatterbox was delivered around the Black Isle and last edition's takings collected. Copies were snapped up at two outlets as soon as they hit the counter, and I returned to The Rural Retreat to find effusive email messages from two of the local worthies featured inside. It's good to be appreciated.

Even better, with just four copies returned, and only three low-volume outlets to visit, we look certain to pass a thousand sales for the first time. Now we'll have to set a new target.

All this good news was consolation for the IT fumblings that broke the very useful wireless link between my Mac and netbook and which I can't restore. That will teach me not to experiment.

When something "breaks" like that, go back to basics and reinstall.

Done it, and again, and still no luck. I'll give it some thought when we're back from the Lakes.
