The Arboreal Acrobat

by admin - 16:58 on 19 February 2014

Less than twenty-four hours before I escort a sniffly, cold-ridden Half Marathon Matchgirl to Inverness Airport for the first leg of our journey to Malta. Her long-anticipated getaway and sporting venture is not turning out the way she'd hoped.

Despite that, we're just about organised for the trip and even had enough time to take The Pride for a jaunt up the lane – one that was quickly aborted when Mr Dogwalker and his hyperactive Jack Russell were spotted at the top of it.

We made do with a stroll around the garden, during which Willow proved that she's our top tree-climbing cat. What an acrobat.

Pandora made a few arboreal sorties but soon lost interest, preferring to bound through long grass like a gazelle. Maia stuck to earth-bound pursuits, mostly involving Matchgirl and a stick. I think that in a previous life our black moggy was a doggy.
