Not A Pretty Picture

There have been some horrific sights in the garden over the last few days – many of the birds are in the middle of their moult and it's not a pretty picture.

Great tits and blue tits are currently the worst afflicted; whether or not coal tits are suffering too I can't say because they've all disappeared. Perhaps they prefer to get it over with in private.

Fortunately, they've not been bothered by The Fearless Ones who choose to spend their time staring at vole holes or sleeping. Hole-watching isn't as much fun in the rain.

Books Update: I'm pleased to report that The Bookmark in Grantown-on-Spey will shortly take delivery of the three top titles on the Bassman Books list.
