Marathon Madness

Matchgirl's athletic ambitions continue to grow. Her brand new blog has brought her into contact with an old friend in the USA who's expressed an interest in running the New York Marathon next year, seven months after the London event.

“I'll do it if you'll do it,” seems to be the story so far. Whether their plans progress further than a pipe dream (remember the Mongol Rally?) only time will tell. Luck in the draw for places may also play a part.

Anyone hoping to find more ace snaps on this blog will be disappointed. Today I stepped back aboard the good ship GNoME so opportunities for use of the Pentax were limited, especially as I don't have the urge that propels Squirrel James into the woods before dawn.
