Another Monochrome Mood

by admin - 17:00 on 25 August 2013

September's almost here, and the start of the new season at Dingwall Camera Club, so yesterday I decided I'd better take some snaps and have something to show that doesn't involve cats.

The Pentax went with me on a quick grocery trip to Cromarty, through drizzle and overcast skies. Most of the results were deleted but a snap of oil platform legs in the Cromarty Firth survived after being turned into monochrome, cropped and the levels tweaked to give a watercolour effect.

I like the atmosphere, although I suspect judges wouldn't be impressed. What do they know?
