Slim Pickings At Strathpeffer

by admin - 21:02 on 17 May 2012

My striving for snappery income continues to yield meagre returns. After two days in the Spa Pavilion, Strathpeffer, only two prints and a dozen cards had found new owners. A third print was eyed hungrily by another stallholder (woodwork and associated crafts) but her two-day profit was such that she thought it an avoidable luxury. Times are hard.

Fortunately, four copies of The Bumper Book of Black Isle Snappery also found new homes, helping take my income up to minimum wage level. Not that that matters; I'm an artist.

The next market is at Findon Hall, Culbokie, on Saturday, but only for two hours (10am-noon). Don't miss your chance to buy.

Marten 32

One of the prints favoured by discerning customers at Strathpeffer

Marten Update: The Nutella Trunk is still alive, its leaves showing no signs of wilt, and continues to play host to martens. Mystery Moggy was also Bushnelled last night, halfway up The Trunk and taking too much interest in Nutella and peanut butter. Something will have to be done.
