Oh Happy Day

by admin - 23:21 on 18 May 2011

The day we thought might never arrive is here. Today we took delivery of three hundred copies of The Bumper Book of Black Isle Snappery. Oh joy.

Tomorrow, while I pursue my weary toil at GNoME HQ, Andrew will distribute books to some of the eager outlets and many even more eager private buyers. The rest of the outlets will be satisfied on Friday and Saturday when books will also be mailed out to my long-suffering website purchasers.

Fortrose Post Office has already received forty copies and may soon be hungry for more. Other outlets have increased their order. We'll probably be sold out again within a fortnight, so Friday's negotiations with Norman's successor are increasingly important. Fingers crossed.

Apart from that, life has become quiet again (apart from Matchgirl banging on the walls to quieten partying mice). Even marten visits have become erratic, and always after we're in bed. Lumpy is as big a tease as the rest of martenkind.
