Team Turner Is Go

by Russell Turner - 17:26 on 15 May 2018

Matchgirl has taken the plunge and signed up for t’ Yorkshire Marathon in October after consulting her running coach, Ben. News that there were less than 100 places left was the spur she needed.

Not that she plans to run it all. Ben says the ambitious athlete will still be recovering from her 100k London to Brighton epic, later this month, but shadowing me as I make a low-speed run/walk around the course should be no problem. Whether she’ll be able to cope with recording such a slow finish time is another matter.

This also means that we could be one of those sickening couples who run across the finish line together holding hands. Sweet.

Badger composite

Brock continues to visit each night, now he knows the supply of peanuts is guaranteed. His latest snap is a composite of three, one featuring Pandora to give it some scale, and which shows that he (or possibly more likely she) is not a huge animal.

Holding hands as we cross the finish line won't be sickening if we do it ironically! Can we run wearing cat ears please? I got all excited by the photo of Pandora and the badgers, and then realised that it was fake news. Most disappointing. xxx

You can wear whatever you like!

Youngsters I would assume. The one I had in my back garden almost a year ago was easily 3 times the size of my cats.

This could be the chance of a batgirl and robin outing!!

Don't put ideas in her head!
