Keeping Matchgirl Calm

by Russell Turner - 16:34 on 30 May 2016

Matchgirl has suffered greatly during the past couple of days. Fog at Sumburgh airport meant that her Shetland flight yesterday got no further than Kirkwall, and a combination of holidaymakers and old salts heading for Jutland commemorations meant that there were no spare seats today.

So the world's greatest non-sailor had to sail overnight on the notorious Northlink Ferry, with only the floor for a bed.

Fortunately the seas were smooth and her fellow passengers not too annoying which meant she was ready for work at 8.45am without too many after-effects.

However, I know she'll still need something to help her relax properly, so here's a recent snap of Willow, doing what cats do best, on the Tess Memorial Shelf.
