The Down Side Of Spring

by Russell Turner - 14:56 on 07 March 2016

The Pride was left to its own devices again yesterday afternoon when City Limits assembled at Tulloch Castle where some publicity shots were taken. The results should be available in a day or two.

Cats alone in the winter means either sleeping or scuffling, but spring is almost here, days are lengthening, sun is shining and feline urges can't be denied. I returned home to discover that a vole, its corpse abandoned outside the door, was the first of this year's garden victims. No-one accepted blame but Pandora looked the most guilty.

Half an hour later the hurried entry of Willow, and subsequent disappearance beneath the dining table, led to the year's first lizard rescue and release back into the wild.

There will be some busy, and bloody, days to come.
