Making Connections

by Russell Turner - 20:59 on 27 November 2015

Freda need not have worried. Copies of her new opus, published by Bassman Books, arrived on schedule and to her satisfaction. Rosemarkie Connections is already in some shops, will soon be in more, and is also available through this website (as Freda doesn't have her own).

The official launch is next Sunday, at 2pm in Gordon Hall, Rosemarkie. Free tea and cake is promised.

City Limits' situation also looks slightly more rosy than it did yesterday, for Keith believes he's found a replacement for drummer Mike. I'll learn more at tomorrow's gig. By the end the weekend, we also expect to hear from the Bandstand Bar in Nairn about gigs for 2016, which will fill a few more holes in our diary.

Tomorrow's appearance at Jacko's Bar promises to be an exciting one because several last-minute suggestions may be played (think Bad Company, Free, Deep Purple and such like) that we've not rehearsed or even (in my case) performed for several years. Seat of the pants stuff – it should be fun.
