Another Woolly Day

by admin - 17:30 on 25 May 2015

During our time in Menorca, Cathy took snaps of rocks, graffiti and random strangers so I was surprised when she opined that the Highland Wool Festival didn't sound very exciting. That may be so if you've no interest in the wonderful world of wool and related products, but if you've a camera and a licence to snap (or even if you don't) it's full of subject matter.

My planned day off from all things snappery didn't go quite to plan for I spent much of it processing images from Saturday's woolly extravaganza, eager to know if a week with PhotoActive Philip and chums had improved my skills. The results look promising.

More work will take place tomorrow, after which a selection will find its way on to Flickr. In the meantime, here are a few random uploads made today to give Cathy a taste of what she missed.

What I saw of the Festival on t'interweb seemed much smaller in scale. Your photos are great, as usual, and yes, it would be a good place for all sorts of snappery!

Ta. There must be events round your way whose organisers would welcome an official snapper. Give it a go!
