A Threat To Agent Cooper

by admin - 21:37 on 20 February 2015

Life's been a challenge for Matchgirl since her beloved Mini, Agent Cooper, failed his MOT a few days ago. A spectacularly worn out exhaust was the main reason, although – to add insult to injury – the tester also failed the car for having defective lamination on the front number plate.

The only up side was two days of swanning around in a white BMW 318 courtesy car, which was returned today. That's not because Agent Cooper is home, though. An apologetic phone call this morning revealed that Inverness's ace Mini/BMW dealer had ordered the wrong replacement exhaust, a new one wouldn't be fitted until Tuesday, but they still wanted the courtesy car back because they'd promised it to someone else for the weekend.

Fortunately they came up with another runaround for Matchgirl – a Mini Paceman Cooper S. That could be shrewd move by the dealership as she's now checking her piggy bank to see if she could afford one herself. Poor Agent Cooper.

Chatterbox Update: The print run began this afternoon. Just a few days until you can buy your copy.
