Making A Splash

The secret can now be revealed...

A few weeks back I was contacted by the top man at the Scottish Nature Photography Awards to tell me that, for the second time, a Bassman Book was on the shortlist for the title of Favourite Scottish Nature Photography Book.

The Bumper Book of Black Isle Snappery (aka Eilean Dubh) was the winner in 2012. Now Moray Firth Dolphins by ace cetacean enthusiast Tim Stenton is in the running for the 2014 title. As it was last time, the winner will be chosen through an online vote on the SNPA website. Don't rush there just yet because voting doesn't begin until noon on October 6.

I'll post the link when it becomes available. In the meantime, tell your friends – Tim's book would be a worthy winner. And I wouldn't complain either about a second success for Bassman Books.
