Upsetting The Neighbours

by admin - 21:56 on 02 April 2014

For the first time in three rehearsals the entire complement of The Strays was in place yesterday evening, with three days to go before the Ord Arms gig. Only one song was deemed unfit for performance (although we've not given up on it yet); the rest varied from quite good through adequate to a bit dodgy, which is why a swift bijou rehearsette has been scheduled for Thursday evening.

We might have played more last night were it not for the thunderous banging on the hall's front door which was opened to reveal an angry wee wifie, brandishing a walking stick, who was fed up of her nearby front room being filled with raucous rock music. The second run through of the Foos' Pretender must have been the last straw. Let's hope she's not home on Thursday.
