Press Day Approaches

The Chattering is almost over. All that's needed to complete the spring number of Chatterbox is a late advert, a weather report, The Chief Chatterer's words of wisdom for the editorial and a sheaf of page proofs.

So it's a pity that the paper needed for what promises to be a bumper edition has not yet been ordered. Someone will be busy tomorrow.

Our cover, The Chief Chatterer has decreed, will feature the young brewer. That's what I'd have chosen, despite my fondness for Mrs Marten, because pine martens are much less likely to buy copies for all their friends. She gets a good show inside anyway.

Feline Update: Bess has shown no further symptoms of any ailment of any kind. Today she enjoyed several good sleeps, two leisurely walks, and displayed a healthy appetite. I think she just wanted the attention.
